What you will handle:
- Monitor, check, & investigate expenses of logistics agents. Ensure the calculation is accurately maintained and executed.
- Prepare and maintain the collection of logistics agents’ documents, both hard copies and digital to ensure a seamless and error-free billing system.
- Monitor cost of chargeable weight and weight discrepancies between Fastship and logistics agents.
- Ensure the weight discrepancy charges are accurate and take initiative to investigate and resolve when needed.
- Monitor and verify accuracy of tax, custom clearances, related expenses related to import-export activities.
- Prepare and deliver monthly estimated vs. actual margin reports for each logistics agent, providing actionable insights to management.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to secure accurate contracted rate cards.
- Work closely with the Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payments to logistics agents, reinforcing financial integrity.
- Partner with the management team to provide data-driven insights and support critical business decision-making.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on cost analysis and financial/accounting analysis.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles, including activity-based costing, cost allocation, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge in monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and conducting margin analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling). Proficiency in data visualization, ability to use Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Understanding of accounting standards, expense verification, and financial transparency.
- Knowledge of taxation and custom clearance costs in logistics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Accounting, Finance, and Management teams.
