The Business Development Executive is the critical role in driving business growth through our logistics products and services, building relationships with potential clients and business partners, and leveraging business advantages for Fastship through key business initiatives and models.

FASTSHIP is a Thailand's top-notch cross border logistics platform aggregating over 15 top door to door delivery service providers including UPS, FedEx, Aramex, USPS, PostNL and ThailandPost. Our strategy is to expand the business range to compete with a rapidly growing ecommerce business in SEA through innovative, technology-driven and a broad range of total solutions in logistics and supply chain.

What you will handle:

  • Identify a potential new market and create a strategic business plan to support the new market launch, including different channe;s of logistics such as freight forwarding, long haul, import-export, or fulfillment.
  • Source and build strong relationships with local distribution partners and networks to ensure that Fastship’s products can be reached out by target customers in respective markets.
  • Collect and analyze the possibility, data, and return of investment of each project development and suggest the most suitable option with concrete evidence.
  • Analyze and estimate market situations and customer preferences, follow up and study consumer behaviors to build up new business opportunities, in order to improve products and services.
  • Lead the development of cross-border or international logistics products operations and go-to-market strategy.
  • Work closely with the senior management team in planning the roadmap for the company's core and new products and services.
  • Ensure that the logistics product strategies can contribute to revenue and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Complete an in-depth needs analysis or feasibility assessment to identify areas of the business where value-added services can be provided to optimize the organization's supply chain and logistics function.

What you have

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business or any related fields
  • Experienced in Business Development functions in international logistics, Export or International Sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in project or product management is a big plus
  • 3 years in e-commerce, export sales, logistics, shipping, or freight-forwarder experience in specific region
  • Exhibit the following qualifications: Data-orientation, Can-do attitude, Fast-learning, Open-minded, Good strategic planning, and Well-organizing.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skill
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to build collaborative partnerships with diverse groups of clients and colleagues
  • Good command of English and Thai, both written and speaking
  • Able to travel and work with people from different cultures
